About Torma House kennel

Best rottweiler kennel in serbia best training place for rottweiler

Rottweiler kennel Torma House kennel was registered in 2015 under FCI organization.
The location of the kennel is about half an hour’s drive from Belgrade, city Obrenovac.
In our kennels, Rottweilers of exhibition quality are represented, but we have not remained immune to the new market.
When I say the new Rottweiler market, it means a Rottweiler with a different look than the show type with a shorter, stronger muzzle, massive looking bodies with stronger, bigger bones, to heavy bones, and bad character.
Of course I will explain to you so that you don’t get the wrong impression when I say the new more modern Rottweiler I don’t mean  on lose skin , overweight and lazy dogs.
Every Rottweiler with me, even if it is the more modern type, must fulfill the basic tasks and condition training as well, because we don’t go to extremes.
Health tests in our kennel are of great importance, we check every dog’s hips, elbows and do a jlpp test.

Rottweiler at our place

Our dogs always have a shiny, healthy coat and are well-socialized.
They have a strong, compact build, enriched with high-quality body mass.
Whether raised by us or trained in our program, they develop an exceptional drive, which we consider essential. Alongside drive, temperament is just as important—it must be at least good, if not excellent.

At our kennel, dogs are fed a 70% fresh food and 30% dry food ratio.
In our experience, Rottweilers, given their breed and purpose, cannot thrive, maintain optimal health, or reach their full potential on dry food alone.

Fresh food—such as eggs, meat, and rice—delivers the best results, keeping our dogs in top condition.
It also helps them maintain their body mass after long trips to shows, whereas dogs fed only dry food tend to lose weight under similar circumstances.

Preparing these meals requires time, dedication, and a true passion for dogs.
I take pride in ensuring they receive tasty, nutritious, and warm meals—especially during winter.

Best training place for Rottweilers

Throughout the year—winter, spring, summer, or autumn—our dogs stay active with outdoor training and exercise.
In winter, after a hard day’s work, nothing beats a warm, delicious meal, followed by restful sleep in a cozy straw-filled kennel.

Spring and autumn are particularly important seasons for dogs. After the heat of summer or the strength-building chill of winter, they enjoy the transition.
Rottweilers, in particular, love training in the rain, rolling in wet grass, playing in the snow, and swimming to cool off in summer

Summer is hard for work, in my opinion, it is much harder than winter. Two hours of swimming, sometimes more.  There is nothing better for young dogs in their developing period of age then swimming.
We are not the best training place, but for sure, we can give your dog one of the best moments of his life.

During the winter, summer, spring, or autumn periods, dogs are out side for activities and training.
In winter time , there is nothing better than hot, tasty meal after hard work  and then sleep in their kennel full of straws.
Spring or autumn are special periods for dogs, when they are tired after summer hot weather or strong and shapely winter.  Rottweilers really love rainy training and rolling in wet grass as a snow or swimming in summer time.

Rottweiler ring shows my passion

A few words about me....

Here’s a refined version with improved grammar, clarity, and flow while keeping the original meaning:

I got my first Rottweiler at the age of thirteen, and since then, I have never owned another breed. By sixteen, I had already started winning at dog shows. At eighteen, I completed my first IPO1 trial with my Rottweiler, and by nineteen, I had passed all the exams to become an FCI judge.

After serving in the army, where I deepened my understanding of Rottweiler training and structure, I made my comeback in 2013, fully dedicated to the breed. Today, I stand behind many champion Rottweilers, proud of the legacy I have built.

I am an FCI II international judge, specializing in Rottweilers, with a non-political approach, an honest commitment to breeding, and deep respect for these incredible dogs.

As contribution to Rottweiler breed I made The Rottweiler Handbook as a help for upcoming new breeders or Rotts lovers.

Rottweiler handbook all about Rottweilers

The Rottweiler Handbook – A Complete Guide

Spanning 145 pages, this handbook offers a clear and concise explanation of what it truly means to own a Rottweiler. It covers the essential needs and characteristics of this powerful and intelligent breed, helping you determine if you’re ready for the responsibility.

You’ll learn how to select the best puppy for you, understand proper socialization techniques based on age, and ensure a smooth transition into training.

A thorough breakdown of the breed standard and anatomy is included—an essential foundation for responsible breeding, proper training, and competition success.

Additionally, this handbook provides a variety of effective training techniques and practical solutions for common challenges throughout the training process.

A helper plays a crucial role in training and later in competitions. Understanding the purpose and impact of a helper’s work on a dog’s presentation is essential—this is explored in detail in the training chapters.

When show time arrives, we must present our dogs in the best possible way. What do dog shows mean to us, and how should we conduct ourselves during presentation? This section provides valuable insights on showcasing your Rottweiler effectively.

Finally, we all recognize the challenges of buying dogs online. As buyers, we often have limited access to reliable information, relying solely on photos—sometimes edited or misleading. How can we uncover the truth about a dog’s appearance and condition? What strategies should we use to navigate our search and find genuine information? Find the answers in The Rottweiler Handbook.

Having rottweiler as puppy

Best American Rottweiler Kennel
Rottweiler puppies, Serbian best Rottweiler kenel

Rottweiler puppies are adorable, but they require special attention and care. Here are some considerations:

1. Socialization: Start socializing your Rottweiler puppy early. Expose them to various people, environments, and other animals to build a well-rounded and confident adult dog.
2. Training: Begin basic training as soon as possible. Positive reinforcement works well with Rottweilers. Teach commands like sit, stay, and come.
3. Exercise: While puppies shouldn’t engage in intense exercise, they still need playtime and short walks. This helps with their physical and mental development.
4. Chewing: Rottweiler puppies, like many others, go through a teething phase. Provide appropriate chew toys to satisfy this instinct and protect your belongings.
5. Healthcare: Keep up with regular veterinary check-ups, vaccinations, and preventive care. Discuss a suitable diet with your vet.

6. Boundaries: Set clear boundaries from the beginning. Consistency is key in establishing rules and preventing undesirable behaviors.
7. Crate Training: Consider crate training for safe and comfortable confinement when necessary. It helps with housebreaking and provides a secure space.
8. Grooming: Get your puppy used to grooming routines, including brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning.
9. Affection: Show your Rottweiler puppy love and affection. Positive interactions strengthen the bond between you and your dog.
10. Patience: Puppies can be challenging, but patience is crucial. Be understanding as they learn and grow.
Remember, investing time and effort into your Rottweiler puppy’s early development pays off in having a well-behaved and well-adjusted adult dog.
